【Overview of Liaoning Province】
▶Location
Liaoning Province is located in the south of Northeast China. 38°43’~ 43°26’ north latitude, 118°50’~ 125°46’east longitude, covering an area of about 148,000 km, with annual average temperature of 10.12℃ and annual precipitation of 744.67 mm.
▶Population
41.659 million people with registered residence (in 2020) Ethnic group: 84% of them are Han nationality, and other 43 ethnic minorities, including Manchu, Mongolian, Hui, Korean, Xibo, live in 14 provincial cities, 17 county-level cities, 56 municipal districts, 19 counties, and 8 autonomous countries.

Magnesite is one of the superior resources in Liaoning Province, with its reserves, refractory output and export volume ranking first in the world. Liaoning magnesite resources are mainly distributed in Haicheng, Dashiqiao, Xiuyan, Fengcheng, Kuandian, Fushun and other regions. According to the geological survey, there are 12 mining areas with reserves of 2,577 million tons, accounting for 85% of the country.
The reserves in Haicheng area are 1 billion tons, that in Dashiqiao area is 1 billion tons, and that in Xiuyan area is 500 million tons. Magnesite in Liaoning Province is characterized by high grade, less impurities, low heavy metals and high industrial utilization value.

▶Bayuquan port (New Yingkou Port)
The land area of Bayuquan Port is 16 square kilometers, and the sea area is 21 square kilometers. There are 55 berths, including 2 ore berths, 8 container berths, 2 grain berths and 7 oil and chemical berths. Ore berths and oil berths can berth 300,000 tonnage ships.
▶ Dalian port
The land area of Dalian Port is 15 square kilometers, and the sea area is 346 square kilometers. There are more than 100 berths for containers, oil, ore, grain and coal, and more than 70 berths for 10,000 tons ships.
